Not allowing shutdown just restarts

Running Windows 10 and installed bitdefender a few months ago. When I try to power of my PC it just restarts instead. This happened in the past and I had to reinstall. Why has this happened again after running for several months fine?

    I’ve experienced this before, and it seems like a conflict between Bitdefender and Windows 10’s shutdown process. Sometimes, antivirus programs can interfere with shutting down if a background process is still running

    Thanks. It seems to mostly happen after a windows update. If I do a restart instead of shutdown, after the update, it usually resolves the issues.
