Add Multiple Scan Times to auto scans

A user should have the ability to input multiple time periods for automated scanning as per his/her needs.

Running quick scans regularly can help maintain system health and catch any emerging threats that may have slipped through real-time protection.

While real-time protection is essential, it's not infallible. Quick scans can provide an extra layer of security, especially when dealing with new or evolving threats.

While Bitdefender Total Security's real-time protection is highly effective, quick scans offer a valuable tool for maintaining system security and peace of mind. They are quick, efficient, and can help identify potential threats that might otherwise go unnoticed

This functionality is already available if the user chooses to schedule multiple Quick Scans each with a different time period.

  • Hello @Rock.87,

I agree with the above introduction on Quick Scans, although I'm unsure what exactly is requested here.
When you schedule a Quick Scan, after you select the frequency (at system startup, daily, monthly, weekly), if you choose daily, weekly or monthly, you can drag the corresponding sliders to set the time when this scheduled scan should start. Then simply click 'Save' to create the custom scan and close the configuration window.

The new custom scan will appear in the Manage Scans area. From here, you can:

    • Click the ellipsis ••• to edit or delete your custom scan task.
    • Click the Run Scan button to start your custom scan at any time.
    • Schedule a System Scan or a Quick Scan.

This means that you can schedule multiple Quick Scans at your discretion and you can choose multiple time periods that way. So, if you already scheduled a Quick Scan and wish to change the Start Date or Start Time, you can edit that particular Quick Scan and set it to run at a different time. Should you wish to keep that Quick Scan as scheduled, but also input another time period for another scan, you can simply schedule a second Quick Scan and choose when to run it, like you did with the first one. And then you could add a third one and so on.
My point is that, the individual window for a Quick Scan cannot be edited to allow multiple time periods for a single scan, but this functionality is available with the ability to create as many Quick Scans as you like, each with a different time period.
Here you will find the complete instructions on how to schedule scans:
