Phone protection clean up.

Over the years I have gotten new phones, iPads, and computers. Now when I look at the list of devices protected it's kind of a mess. The names of the devices are not unique and its pretty confusing. I have new devices, but have kept the older one and use them not infrequently.

What's the best way to clean up this mess? Delete all the protections from the devices and my account and start over giving each device a unique name? Just delete the older ones?

    Good Day @Jinbnd,

May I know when you are looking at the list of devices, its on the Bitdefender Central application correct. If so, yes the current devices which is no longer in use by you (older devices) , I would say to remove it off as it would then automatically then sync across you Bitdefender central account.

If you are using the devices still, then I would suggest yes, giving the device a unique name which is also what I do for my account which has 20+ devices, this way yes it does take 10-15 minutes of your time but in the long run, should you encounter issues or need to troubleshoot, it would be easier and much more convient for you.

But please also do note for my advice in paragraph 1, once you have deleted it from central app, you will most probably need to sign into you Bitdefender AV app via your account to link the license back (depending on the amount of license you have) and it will at the same time add the device to Bitdefender Central in which you can see in the screenshot that I have attached below for your reference of a device that I have just added while typing this and it pops out in the at risk tab until you have taken all necessary steps needed to secure the device.

I look forwar to hearing from you and hope this answers and helps you with your question.

    Best Regards,
