Disable bitdefender for update windows?

Hi everyone,

I have a laptop with windows 11 23H2 that is ready to update to 24H2, do I need to disable or uninstall bitdefender for this update?

It's not necessary to disable or uninstall Bitdefender to perform that update.

Hello,

I personally would uninstall Bitdefender, as that is a more major upgrade (Windows 10 to 11) and would rather make sure that transition went smoothly without possibly BD interfering with the transition, or somehow being affected by it. Especially as Windows 11 may also want to, or install 24H2 during the process.

A nice clean install of BD on a new version of Windows, sounds good to me :)

What about when I have to update my windows 10 to windows 11? Can I leave bitdefender installed or should I disable or uninstall for that update?
