Spotting Keyloggers

Hi,

I am curious about how to reveal possible trojans, or keyloggers. I have been using a sysinternals app called "tcpview.exe" that lists connections and can reveal what program is associated with a connection. If the PC were to be infected with a keylogger or trojan connecting outbound, wouldn't Tcpview be able to spot it?

Thanks

  • Hello coolecho,

Please open BitDefender in Advanced View, click on the Antivirus module and under the Shield tab, click on the Custom Level button. Under "Scan accessed files" make sure that the option "Scan for riskware" is checked . This is the only option from the Antivirus module, that will permit BitDefender detect the possible keyloggers applications that may try access your system .

    Thank you.
