Ftp Blocked In Windows Explorer

Can't belive that this has not been covered elsewhere but 'search' is not throwing anything up...

I can happily open an ftp site (e.g. ftp.microsoft.com) within IE but I need full folder access supplied by Windows Explorer. When I try this either directly in Windows Explorer or via IE using Page/Open FTP Site I get "windows cannot access this folder. ... A connection to the server cannot be established".

If I disable BD Firewall then it works fine

Can anyone help?

Having the same problem here, any advice?

Edit: I'm using Cloud Security for Endpoints by Bitdefender, but the issue is the same.
