2010 Av On Winxp 64 Bit Non-activation
Hi guys,
Im getting very sick of BD chat support so am hoping the forum will bring me more joy. Over the last 4 weeks I have spoken to 12 (yes 12) 'technicians', all of which hasn't helped me whatsoever, but no only that they haven't even listened to my issue. I have had at least 5 emails from 'higher' technicians who are qualified to give solve my issue, and the emails are a serious joke.
My issue is that my AV 2010 does not connect to BD servers when trying to activate. I am behind no firewall or router so that isn't the issue, also i have been a cisco engineer so i know some stuff 
. The issue is that of BD and win xp 64 bit, i know this because i have re installed xp 64 a few times over the last year and have had the same problem. The first time i had it, emailed BD who sent me a small exe DOS prompt patch that injected my details into my bd and allowed it to activate. Because i have had this patch and used it several times in the past, i know it exists and it is the solution to the issue. I have however accidentally deleted it so need it back.
When i ask support to send me the patch, they email me talking to through the activation wizard and how to find it, which is sooo patronising. Today i got a new email after i went a bit nuts on my 12th chat session with them, they email detailed how to solve the issue, apparently.. This didn't work surprisingly, not only that, it had me deleting reg entries that were nothing to do with BD or its services, good job i backed up

I have a multi boot system with xp 32 and win 7, both of them activate fine , just to prove its xp 64.. I cannot remember the name of the small patch but can anyone on here give me a link or send it to me if you have it, or can a tech please help me. I refuse to call you guys since you will charge me and after 12 times over addressed the issue i am not confidant that you will help if i call.
It has took all of my willpower not to bite your technicians heads off verbally in chat as i know its no individuals fault, but i am at the end of my tether..
