Freezes While Deep Scanning
When Bitdetector is in deep scan mode it will look like the laptop is running however if I click anywhere on the computer windows freezes. I’ll have the ability to move the mouse pointer but clicking does nothing.
It always happens at a certain file: windows\winsxs\Manifest\x86_microsoft...6002.1849_none_9e2369c00a004aef.manifest
I searched the location but I can’t find that specific filename (I searched for the end digits and hidden files + folders are set to show).
There are a lot of other .manifest files can I remove these or are they important components.
At the moment I can’t completely scan the laptop I’m hoping for help since I’ve been trying to clean it out for 2 days now and getting no where.
I’d appreciate any help offered.
