Bitdefender 2010 And Windows 7 64bit Freezing Issue

Computer: i5 processor, 4Gb RAM, 2TB HDD.
Issue: Sometimes my computer does not respond well for few seconds. For example when I right click an icon sometimes takes 10s for the menu to appear. When I start some applications takes 5-6 to respons. In internet explorer I click "open link in new tab and it takes 5-6s. It's only about 30% of the times when it does that and the processor is at 1-5% during this issues. The computer is not frozen during this time but it just add 5s+ to initiate the task. I have installed BIT defender 2010 2 days ago so thats why I feel that is related with it.
