Help! Bitdefender Totally Crashed My Pc

Hey there,

Really hope someone can help me. I installed BitDefender 2010 yesterday as ESET Smart Security Business Edition was allowing some viruses through.

Now I cannot log into my compuer in Safe Mode. I always get the BSOD. When I log in normally the computer just hangs. Normally it will allow me to do something for about 60 seconds and then it just seizes up and have waited for over half an hour and nothing further happens.

So I can't seem to do anything and can't run the computer. Have tried doing a System Restore to the last known good configuration but the problem is still there.

Could really do with some help as soon as possible. Am menat to be doing a focus group for my University Thesis tomorrow and I can't access my computer!

If Windows is badly damaged and can not start in Safe Mode, you can use the Windows installation disc in order to repair your OS.

For Windows Vista go to:

Afterwards, you will have to uninstall BitDefender and Eset products completely from your system:

- The BitDefender uninstall tool is located at:

http://bitdefender.com/uninstall

- In order to uninstall Eset Smart Security Business solution, you will have to contact Eset support.

After you restore your system, we will be able to properly determine the cause of this situation.
