Bitdefender Crashes When Starting A Scan In Ubuntu 10.10
BitDefender crashes when starting a scan in Ubuntu 10.10
I have D/L a fresh copy of BD for Unices and did a fresh install.
I updated the a/v signatures
I rebooted.
When I go to scan anything, as soon as the a/v engines load and it starts to scan it crashes.
Logs don't show anything.
I've tried running BD using SUDO and GKSU, neither helps.
Any ideas?
Joe.

Additional information:
BD previously ran fine in Ubuntu 10.04.
Upgraded Ubuntu from 10.04 to 10.10.
System has 2 GB ram w/100+ GB free space in HDD
CLI also crashes as soon as AV engines load and start scanning.
Log file reports only directory of scan.
Trying to scan home directory.
I again tried a complete uninstall via synaptic and a new install.
No change. Still crashes BD when it starts to scan.0 -

I did an update and it appears to be fixed.
Thank the dev team for me for the nice job!
