I have some queries about TrafficLight

1) What if I don't have installed Internet Explorer or using IE Ver6 but Opera, Firefox and Google Chrome already installed or it is mandatory to install IE7+ ?

2) Does it also work with other Security Solution installed?

3) What is the difference between "Search Advisor" feature and TrafficLight? Is it similar to "Scan Web Traffic" in Bitdefender Antivirus Settings?

4) Any user guide how to configure it?

Sorry for the late response.

1. If you have IE6 for example the interface for the toolbar won't show correctly in the browser due to fact that IE6 is old and it's engine does not parse javascript and css very well (try browisn to Facebook with IE6 and you'll see what I mean) .

2. From our test there have been no significant reports of running TrafficLight with other security solutions , but if you encounter such problems please let us know so we can fix things on our side.

3. The "Search Advisor" feature you have in BD only checks links that show up in search engine results (bing, yahoo, google, etc.). TrafficLight is similar to "Scan web Traffic" option found in BD and different at the same time.

For example TrafficLight scans for both malware and antiphishing where "scan web traffic" scans for malware , and for APH at the moment you have to install an addon in firefox. That's one of the advantages that TrafficLight brings.

4. Guide - The interface in TrafficLight is intuitive and you will also find a Guide after you have installed it in the Start menu bar under BitDefender TrafficLight

1 . TrafficLight does not come yet with a predefined set of rules for blocking ads. When the final release will be made public the user will have a tool which he can use to select ads from a webpage and then block them .

2. BD Browser Security was an early release of TrafficLight. TrafficLight includes the functionality of Browser Security plus some more features and optimizations , and as you can see a re-branding from Browser Security to TrafficLight.
