Application Usage Log
Options
I have IS2012 and run it with no parental controls configured and all the options on the associated settings page set to off.
I find that events are being recorded in the Application Usage tab at hourly intervals starting 1 hour after log on.
What is recorded does not make a lot of sense as each hour it is the same 3 applications, 2 of which are not even running.
e.g.
Application: Windows Explorer
Path: C:WINDOWS\Explorer.exe
User: Administrator
Time: 51h:57m:52s
Application: SharpClock
Path: E:\VC\Projects\SharpClock\bin\Debug\SharpClock.exe
User: Administrator
Time: 592568h:56m:01s
Application: Registry Editor
Path: C:WINDOWS\regedit.exe
User: Administrator
Time: 00h:01m:49s
The last 2 applications are not running, the user is not Administrator and the time field values are fixed, i.e. registry editor is always recorded with Time:1m49s.
Can anyone explain what the application log is supposed to do as I doubt very much it is this.
