Scan From Command Line

Hi,

I am using BitDefender total security 2011. I want to know to how to scan a single file from command line.

I want to integrate bit defender with my IDM. I you have a procedure to do that, it would be helpful.

Otherwise, tell me how to scan a single file from command line.

    Hello :)

    Welcome to the forums!

The scan can be made, but the path to the scanner is dynamic because it is updated via the engine updates.

    Look over here:

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender Threat Scanner\Antivirus_XXXX\bdc.exe

The XXXX are some numbers that change with each update.

For the parameters please type bdc.exe /? in Command Prompt.

    Take care.

  • Hello,

I need a bit of help please. I want to run a Full System Scan via the command line. I have the following syntax but this is for Deep system scan.

    bdc.exe /f /b /r /i /G /N /l /copy /copys /del

I wonder if anyone can help me with the syntax to simulate a Full System Scan.

    Thank you in advance,

    Welcome to the forums!

Please run bdc.exe /? in Command Prompt and you will have there all the parameters from the command line scanner.

    Have a great day!
