Is SafeGo necessary? Doesn't BitDefender scan URL's, links, etc. without using SafeGo?

Will you please explain SafeGo to me and why it does more to secure Facebook and Twitter than BitDefender itself?

Seems to me that BitDefender is capable of doing this without using SafeGo.

Thanks

    Hello :)

Safego can be integrated in those social networks and is able to create rapports, warn users about threats without actually clicking the links. Also, can detect hoax messages that is not malicious by default because is a piece of text, but under a second context can be considered dangerous.

Safego was created as a standalone product and after that it was integrated in the desktop products as a new layer of security against malware that is spread via social networks.

    Take care.
