Free Upgrade From 2012 To 2013 Not Working

I currently have Total Security 2012 installed and, after seeing the post at the link above, I just tried to upgrade following the instructions. I have got Total Security 2013 installed okay, but when it comes to automatically retrieving my current license key, it just tells me to enter a new key. It is displays as having the 30 day trial version installed. I logged into my account on the my.bitdefender.com website, and it is still displaying that I have 2012 installed.

What do I do now to fix it? I have my license key written down, but I have not entered it in 2013 in case it thinks I have used all three license keys.

It seems to be working now - I completely uninstalled 2013 (using the uninstaller tool), and then re-installed it again. This time it did automatically pick up my license key information.
