Bitdefender Blocking Vpn?
I'm running BitDefender Total Security on my system and I've never had any issues with it. However, recently I decided to run a VPN when visiting certain sites. Unfortunately, these sites that used to work before are no longer connecting to the proper servers (it tries to connect and says it can't establish the connections).
The VPN site says it's almost always an issue with something in the Anit-Virius or Firewall not allowing the connection. I've tried adding a firewall rule that links directly to the VPN exe file but that did not seem to work.
Can you tell me how to give proper permissions in BitDefender to allow the VPN to connect to the servers?
Thnx

Hello
Welcome to the forums!
Did you make these settings in the Firewall module?

Thanks for the reply. I checked the thread/screenshot and yes, all my settings match. Actually, I went one step further to where my "Network Type" is not just set to Home/Office but to "Trusted/Allow All."0 -
Hello
The traffic is still blocked?
Could you please turn off the firewall temporary and tell me if everything is OK?
Also, Windows Firewall is turned off?

I've discovered that its the VPN software blocking it and not an exception in Bitdefender's firewall. I am however troubleshooting another issue with the Firewall that relates to the VPN, but I started a separate thread about that here. If you can please take a look it would be appreciated:0 -
