Pc Crashes After Uninstall

Yesterday I attempted to upgrade to the 2013 version of Internet Security from 2012.. In order to do this it needed to uninstall the previous version and I've been having problems with my PC ever since. Currently running windows 7 64bit.

At first it was resulting in the following files being left on my PC.

bdshellext.dll

iservconfig.dll

npcimm.dll

I've now managed to get to the stage where I can uninstall with none of these files being left over. However as soon as I reboot the PC to enable the changes to take effect I get a blue screen error. I'm having to use system restore to get back to a running PC. When I do this though the previous version of bitdefender doesn't load at all.

I've tried uninstalling both in normal and safe mode. I tried using the offline tool and the one included with the 2013 download. My Pc won't allow me to uninstall, change or repair through the control panel.

My Pc knowledge is limited when it comes to fixing errors and I've reached that limit so any help would be much appreciated.
