Moving Common Files\bitdefender Folder

I understand that Bitdefender accesses C:\Program Files\Common Files\Bitdefender so I have two questions - can I move this to a folder on my other drive and which files are safe to delete without affecting the operation of Bitdefender?
This is an annoying problem with years of complaints. I have a massive amount of space but BD insists on living on my C: partition.
