Idea, And The Reason That I Don't Change Avast! Mobile For Bitdefender Mobile

The Avast! Anti-Theft has the Geo-Protection function, that lock your geoposition in a radius and the app execute some predefined functions.

This hasn't a difficult implementation. And I think is very usefull, especially in places with high criminal index.

In my opinion, this is the only function missing, and the only reason that I'm not change for BitDefender.

And I'm sorry for my bad english.

    Hiya viniciusdeck,

Yes, you mean where the phone has a radius of being taken to and if you go outside that radius it locks, or sets off an alarm. A good idea but somewhat limiting in that you have to remember to deactivate it when, for example you finish your coffee and wander off from the cafe only to have the alarm go off. Been there - done that.

    Ro.

  • Yes, you need to deactivate it.

But if you are in place, and you was stolen (the phone is out the radius), it could block the phone, send the gps coordinates automatically, print a message, or execute any function offered by the BitDefender app.
