Scans Are Crashing Computer

I tried bitdefender total and realized I already had some of that functionality with existing products I am satisfied with. I'm trying antivirus plus now but when I do a full system scan it crashes the system.


Would appreciate any advice how to proceed.

    Firstly run a repair on Bitdefender either from Start>All Programs>Bitdefender>Repair or Uninstall, or from Control Panel>Programs and Features>Bitdefender>Uninstall>Repair.


    Secondly, which other security programs do you have running as these could potentially cause the problems you are seeing.
