Realtime Protection Will Not Switch On

Running Antivirus 2015 under Windows 7.


Bitdefender warns that realtime protection is off. When I click "fix" it momentarily goes to "solved" and then immediately to "failed".


When I go in to manually change the setting through Protection>Antivirus>Shield and try to turn "On-access scanning" on it just immediately reverts to off.


Tried both many times, can not find similar issue in forum.


Any advice much appreciated.

    Please bring up Bitdefender, click Update, wait until the process ends hen restart the computer and check if the issue is solved.
