This Key Was Already Used To Generate A Subscription

Last night I purchased Bitdefender Total Security Multi-Device 2016 and when I try to register my purchase using the emailed Activation Code, I get the message "This key was already used to generate a subscription."
I have Bitdefender Total Security Multi-Device 2016 but it is showing me I have a trial version.
What steps should I take to activate my installation/subscription?
