Just finished installing Bitdefender 2017, but when I try to sign in, it always says "Unable to connect to the server". My internet is working fine. I can't activate it since I can't sign in.

Please open a Command Prompt and use the following commands.
ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew netsh winsock reset catalog netsh int ip reset
Might be that you are unable to resolve the Bitdefender server hostname.

The Commands for the Command Prompt didn't work for me, in my case I changed the DNS in the Networkadapter to the ones from Google(8.8.8.8 primary and 8.8.4.4 as secondary)
