Bitdefender 2016 to 2017 - Device Connect alert

I just now upgraded from 2016 to 2017 and immediately the device connect sound started playing and wouldnt stop. I uninstalled Bitdefender and the sound stopped, but when I reinstalled Bitdefender it started again.

I have had to turn off this notification but this is not a solution - can you help

I am using Windows 10

Hello,

Please use the uninstall tool below to clean the machine from the previous version of Bitdefender and retry the install afterwards.

Please also let us know what build of Windows are you running on that machine.

This didnt work, the problem came back

I am using Windows 10 Version 1607
