Installing 2017 software

Why is it taking so long for the software to install?   I do have a very slow internet speed...maybe this is the problem?

Welcome to Bitdefender Forums.  Indeed, a slow Internet connection could be the cause of a slow install.  As a part of the install, after the initial download, the downloader file downloads the main program installation file, which is quite large.  During installation, at the beginning, Bitdefender also scans the computer for viruses and other malware.  Since there is a cloud-based component to the scanning, it too relies on the Internet to conduct the scan.

Please let us know if you were able to successfully download and install Bitdefender.
