Told to restart my computer for new version of Bitdefender antivirus..now I'm locked out..doesn't li

After responding to Bitdefender request to restart my computer to receive a new version of my Bitdefender anti virus, it then said I must Uninstall my current version and then restart again to download new version. When I did that, a message flashed that the new version is not compatible with my operating system  (Windows 10). Now I have no Bitdefender at all!!!  What is going on? How do I get it back without paying for a new product?

Firstly please run the Bitdefender Uninstall Tool, both the the old version and 2017.

Afterwards proceed to install the product from your Central account. There is no need for you to pay for the product again.
