BitDefender Test Engines Init
Hi, after update of new version of Total security 2019 the Bitdefender firewall popup with a message in which testinitsigs.exe sending a TCP (6) packet and asking acess to the internet. I searched on internet some info about that aplication but without success. The aplication is located in C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender Security. Is it legit and why that aplication must ask for access if is a part of Bitdefender engine? And it is not visible on the list in Firewall/aplication access.

The file testinitsigs.exe is from us and it is legit. We will investigate the reason the Firewall is sending alerts regarding this file.

They probably did, but don't expect a reply. It's been more than 4 years and that app now gets default access.
