Bitdefender and WSL risks

Is Bitdefender 2019 already able to protect from threats that use Windows Subsystem for Linux?

If there is any processes that are running on WSL which tries to make any modifications to any files from Windows, Bitdefender will block them.

thanks for answer. I have no specific problem. I am considering installing WSL and would like to understand if it can expose the PC to dangers not yet supported. With this in mind, Is Bitdefender 2019 already equipped to recognize this new type of hazard?

Bitdefender will detect and block any suspicious process that runs under WSL and modifies Windows files. This is achieved through our on-access detection feature, just like it does while using Bitdefender in a normal Windows environment.
