Full System Scan does not complete - Computer Hangs

I am using Windows 10 . I can run Quick Scan - but Full System scan gets to 48% after 4 hrs and the hangs my whole computer - I can use the mouse but it is ineffective, cannot even go to task manager. So I have to reboot/ restart to get back to anything. It wont even let me cancel the scan..

I have read previous discussions on this topic and the instructions on how to create a log to send you guys - but they do not detail how you do this in Windows 10.

Is this a known issue as it has just started to happen.
