Hi,
there is no update button. how can i update?
when right click on the tray icon i see only 2 options: "show" and "en-US".
when clicking on the setting icon, and then "protection" i see:
Antivirus free edition 1.0.17.209

Free version of bitdefender antivirus does not has a update button and neither it had any from the date it was introduced. The update button is only available in paid/ commercial version of the consumer product. That being said, all bitdefender products are set to automatically update after every 1 hour. This means, time between 2 successful update is 1 hour, provided their is an availability of the detection database released by bitdefender malware researchers.
