Twitch being blocked by Bit Defender

Hello,

Over the last few months, every time I would watch a stream on twitch the stream would stop and I would get the following error "Twitch error 2000: Network Error".

I did some googling and on reddit they found some issues wiith Bitdefenders "online threat protection" and Twitch. I've tried whitelisting the twitch website but that doesn''t seem to work. The only thing that addresses the issue is disabling every option in "Online Threat Protection" but that doesn't seem ideal.

Does anyone have a solution that does not require entirely disabling the Online Threat Protection? Can Bitdefender fix this permanently?

It looks, like it works for me on Bitdefender Internet Security 2021

Edit. It worked for some time, now I still have the same problem.

Hi,

in addition to previous solution, I also turned off Privacy->Anti-tracker for my internet browser. After that everything works fine ;-)
