Possible false alarm with spotify

Spotify preferences file has been triggering false alarms on systems for multiple users including myself. Here is a link to the discussion in the Spotify community about the same. Since this discussion was started only a few hours back I suspect it has something to do with the latest update of Bitdefender.

Please respond at the earliest and tell me if it would be safe to add this to exclusions.
