Can't submit malicious file / threat
I just had a file quarantined then disinfected by Bitdefender Total Security so now I can't submit the file to see if it's a false positive. The file is inside a plugin folder & the source file for it is a .rbz file (ruby ******) so you run it to install the extension/plugin & that's when the malicious file is created, then Bitdefender quarantines it so the plugin won't run.
The threat name is: Gen:Suspicious.Cloud.4.!y4@a06Nsvhi. I tried to run it through Total Virus to see if it is malware but I can't access the file to upload it for the same reason....it gets quarantined & disinfected (deleted) by Bitdefender if I try to access the file.
I've notified the plugin developer but apart from that, not sure how I can check if it's a false positive or not. Any suggestions appreciated.
