Threat detected every time i open Google Chrome

Hello, in the past few days, every time i open Chrome, a pop up message is displayed saying that threat has been detected. What exactly is this and why does it keep poping up? Here is the exact message:
The file C:\Users\vpate\AppData\Local\Temp\6132_1896534160\js\background\Media\FaceBook.js has been detected as infected. The threat has been successfully blocked, your device is safe
and here is another message:
The file C:\Users\vpate\AppData\Local\Temp\scoped_dir15780_118784280\CRX_INSTALL\js\background\Media\FaceBook.js has been detected as infected. The threat has been successfully blocked, your device is safe
That does not happen when i open firefox or edge. Only in Google Chrome.

Follow the steps as stated below :

1) Restart PC in safe mode (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-your-pc-in-safe-mode-in-windows-10-92c27cff-db89-8644-1ce4-b3e5e56fe234)

2) Open run command again and run below command one by one :

temp ,delete all the files in the folder

%temp% ,delete all the files in folder

prefetch ,delete all the files in folder

3) Restart your PC in general mode by unticking the option that you selected to run the system in safe mode and then click apply.
