Bitdefender Main Window Blocked on Big Sur 11.3.1
Trying my luck here... I've opened a ticket with BitDefender Support, and have not had any luck - I keep getting asked for information already provided in the original ticket.
Situation:
I have been running Bitdefender Antivirus for the Mac for a couple years now w/no issues until now.
After upgrading MacOS to BigSur 11.3.1, whenever I try to open the Bitdefender main window, I'm presented with a modal indicating I need to allow all security modules to run with Full Disk Access. The modal specifically calls out Bitdefender SRL, but when I go into System Preferences to grant Full Disk Access, Bitdefender SRL is not listed. The other half of the modal says to "Restart your device to finalize setup". I've granted Full Disk Access to everything related to Bitdefender and then rebooted.
Upon reboot, if I open the Bitdefender main window, it pops up fine temporarily, but within 5 or so seconds, it is replaced by the same "Allow all security modules to run" and "Restart your device to finalize setup" modal.
It's almost as if a background check gets launched after not finding some flag or config bit set as part of installation (keep in mind, I had been running fine for a couple years now, and this was only started after the 11.3.1 upgrade), and am unable to get around that.
