Logging on another PC - Error 409 - user_exists
Hello everyone,
I've tried the password manager on two PCs (Win 10 and 11) and one Android Phone and faced no issues so far.
But on my 3rd PC, whenever I log in with my Bitdefender account to sync it to the password manager, it keeps asking for a new master password. Tried to add my initial master password thus resulting in a 409 error - user_exists.
I've tried clearing the cache, disabling all the anti-trackers but to no avail.
I'm using the latest version of Brave.
Any advice?

Hello :)
As of now, Brave is not a supported browser. Are you using Brave on the other 2 PCs?

Hey Scott,
Thanks for your comment.
Sadly, is not working on Chrome either. Same error.
What I found out is that only on the PC it doesn't work, I have no other Bitdefender Utility installed (Antivirus, VPN, etc.). While on the other two I have the Antivirus and the VPN installed. Using both Chrome and Brave on those and it is working perfectly on those two.
Not sure if that matters as the Password Manager doesn't require for the Antivirus Client to be installed.0 -
That is beyond me and my level of help. Since it is a stand-alone app, having an antivirus installed or not, shouldn't affect its ability to function properly.
One of the Mods here will have to help you and maybe suggest contacting support, but I will let them do that.
I hope it gets figured out for you.
