Where does bitdefender not scan?

I recently had a bad experience with a virus to where I hard reset my PC. After running several virus scans (full system) it has come up with nothing. I don't think that there is any virus on my PC anymore however I want to be really safe. I am not sure if my harddrive was reset or if there could be a virus on my recovery partition leading me to ask - is there anything that bitdefender does not scan? Will it scan my rootkit or recover partitions? I have also ran virus scans with Malwarebytes to which there was nothing detected.

Any help is appreciated!

If Bitdefender and Malwarebytes found nothing, then your PC should be clean.

Anyway, if you want to be sure that your PC is clean, you can also do a one-time scan with these products:

Kaspersky Vuris Removal Tool 2020

and

ESET Online Scanner

https://download.eset.com/com/eset/tools/online_scanner/latest/esetonlinescanner.exe

All these 4 products have their own anti-malware engine, so doing a scan with all of them will give you the answer to your question is your PC clean or not.

As you may already know, you can see what is scanned after a scan by viewing the detailed report/View log in the Notification panel, Quick scan example is shown as my latest scan. By default, here is what a System scan covers, 2nd and 3rd images.
