The issue can be at software or hardware end.

Hardware End Resolution (hit & trial method, may or maynot work)

Kindly check for the dust buildup in fan or RAM of your desktop/ laptop. For fan dust, gently use a blower and for RAM, kindly first remove them from their respective slots and use a blower to clear the dust away. Afterwards, insert your RAM back in the slots.

Software End (hit & trial method, may or maynot work)

Run following commands in order.

1) chkdsk

Open cmd (command prompt) as administrator, and type chkdsk, let it complete.

2) SFC (system file checker)

Open cmd (command prompt) as administrator, and type sfc /scannow, let it complete

3) DISM (Deployment Image Servicing and Management)

Open cmd (command prompt) as administrator, and type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, let it complete

4) Run SFC again

5) Check for latest windows updates & driver updates.

If the issue still persists, you will have to get you desktop/ laptop checked by the manufacturer.
