DuckDuckGo Email Protection

I am using Bitdefender Premium and a Firefox browser on a Windows 10 laptop. I recently read about the availability of the beta version of the DuckDuckGo Email Protection. I liked some of the features that were listed but don't want to add it to my privacy programs if it will create any conflicts with my existing software. Is there a reason or reasons why installing it would not be a good idea?

  • Hello @KaseyW,

I'm not entirely sure I understood your question correctly. If you are referring to the anti-spam feature, this is only compatible with outlook and thunderbird and does not work with browser based clients. But to receive a more accurate response, I would recommend to pop the question to our engineers, as they would have more insight on this.
