This has to do with how your OS notifications are configured and there is no way to suppress them using the antivirus settings. Depending on your preferences, you can disable all notifications, or keep the ones that are of interest to you. To disable all notifications in Windows, do the following:
- Select Start in the bottom left-hand corner of your desktop.
- Click Settings (looks like a gear).
- Click System.
- From the sidebar, select Notifications & actions.
- Underneath Notifications, toggle off Get notifications from apps and other senders.
However, I am unsure if the update notifications can be disabled as well this way or separately.
