Notification related to blocking of threat cannot be disabled and it will always pop up if bitdefender will find anything malicious or suspicious in a system. This is how the product is made to make user aware that they are under attack or may be under attack by a malicious thing. This particular notification cannot be disabled and I guess developers will also not agree on making any changes to it since this notification is important.
More information can be provided by @Alexandru_BD or @Mike_BD

Hello.
Open your Bitdefender program and go to:
1. Settings -> General and disable "Special offers" and "Recommendation notifications" (for the "Password Manager" notification)
2. Protection -> Antivirus -> Settings -> Scan flash drives and select "Autoscan" or "Disabled", do not select "Ask every time" (for the "USB Immunizer Recommendation" notification)
3. Privacy -> Safepay -> Settings and disable "Safepay notifications"
4. Privacy -> Video & Audio Protection -> Settings and disable "Notify when allowed applications connect to the webcam", "Notify when an application tries to access the microphone" and "Notify when browsers access the microphone"
5. Utilities -> Profiles -> Settings and disable "Activate profiles automatically" (for the Profile notification)
After doing that, in the future no pop-up notifications will be displayed in the lower right corner of your screen.
REMEMBER: When a threat is detected, a pop-up notification will be displayed in the lower right corner of your screen and you can't disable those pop-up notifications.
Next, as an option to fully disable the Bitdefender alerts and pop-ups, open your Bitdefender program, go to Utilities -> Profiles -> Settings and enable/activate "Work Profile" or "Game Profile".
When "Work Profile" or "Game Profile" is enabled/activated, all Bitdefender alerts and pop-ups are disabled.
Finally, as for the Bitdefender VPN pop-ups, you can simply uninstall Bitdefender VPN from your device by following the steps provided here (just select "Bitdefender VPN"):
https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/2791/
or
open the Bitdefender VPN program, go to Settings -> Notifications and disable "Allow notifications".

I followed all of the procedures above to block those completely annoying and problematic bogus virus warnings from so called Norton, Microsoft and whatever scam names people are using. Performing all of the functions listed above did nothing and they are CONSTANTLY popping up in the lower right hand corner. Can anything in this product prevent these from popping up?

Hello @Goldstein50,
If the notifications are not triggered by Bitdefender, most likely what you are seeing there is adware/browser redirect/intrusive adverts and you can follow @Gjoksi instructions above to get rid of them, or the steps from this article:
Let us know how it goes.

Just to say I commented that Bitdefender and it's ads were annoying me,and they are a bit, but realised I was looking at Bitdefender Central . Com which shows status generally but is not where it is installed. I am using 2 pcs and switch between the two.
I now see that what was said above is possible. Drove me nuts looking for settings until I switched to the right PC. Switching from Kaspersky (been with them 10yrs) not because of worries about their security just ease of use. Hope I made the right decision.

Hello @Charentejohn and welcome to Bitdefender and the community! 🙂
Yes, most notifications can be disabled, it's the security ones that sometimes require user input and cannot be silenced entirely. Apart from this, there are multiple customization options, including profiles dedicated for specific activities.
