Is There A Malware Database Description (Gen:Variant.Ser.Babar.1208)?

just curious if there is a database of detections with a description as to what the detections are. bitdefender just detected Gen:Variant.Ser.Babar.1208 on my computer. i suspect this is a pup or false positive and wished to see what they identify it as.

There is no database of detections with a description for any malware detected by Bitdefender products.

it seems that it is a false positive.

Anyway, only the malware researchers at Bitdefender Labs can help you with the issue.

file it flagged was spyshelter, so i presumed it a false positive or pup detection. i did a double check scan with windows defender and found nothing. i have used the link you provided to report it as a false positive.
