VPN Blocking Apps

I'm finding my VPN connection is blocking certain apps from working properly. One is a shopping App (Co-op) it gives you weekly shopping vouchers to choose, when VPN is running the app cannot show you your weekly discounts, disable the app and they appear. I can't seem to see anywhere to whitelist apps, and I cannot view information on the sites blocked through the VPN. It states a number but you can't see further details, and there's no log I can find in the Bitdefender VPN app.

I'm running Bitdefender VPN 1.2.7.91
