Saving the scan's report

Hi there,

I have a question about saving the scan report.

For example, when I ran a Bitdefender system scan, it identified 24 issues that needed to be fixed. It was advised that I manually delete the files or emails, but I was short on time and wanted a copy of the report so that I could deal with them later.

Is it correct that there is no way to save the report as a Word or PDF file (including the issues, pathways, file names, etc.)?

Thanks for your help and guidance,

The only way I know to open the report in that way would be in Notepad by following the log file location and right-click, Open As. But I don't know if that would have all the information you're looking for, as so far, thank goodness, there was nothing to report malware-wise on my PC. Maybe someone else has figured that one out?

  • Thanks for your reply, appreciated.

There was no such log file to save, however, I followed the path you provided (C:\ProgramData\Bitdefender\Desktop\Profiles\Logs\system\dcf483c4-26d0-4e6f-ba28-6a53a00adae), and I opened the file based on the date that I scanned, it was not similar,

Luckily I did screenshots (it is attached in this comment- lol, I hold the mouse cursor on each issue so I can see the complete pathway of the issue so I can take care of them later) because it identified 24 issues that needed to be fixed and It was written that I manually delete the files or emails and Bitdefender will send the files on quarantine (it was not able to delete, clean or disinfect them)- it was written on the "take action" "proper action" section,

However it would be much easier if there was an option so I could save the report,

    Much appreciated again,
