Bitdefender Virus Shield takes 600MB RAM.

    The memory usage is calculated for all the apps listed below the bdservicehost process (including bdservicehost).

    You can do this to see how much bdservicehost is using as a percent:

    The CPU usage is at 1% which is normal. In this case, I don't think that the bdservicehost is using excessive RAM.

    Just did a test on my laptop and here are the results:

    Laptop: Asus X551CA

    Purchased: April 2014

    Specs: Intel Core i3-3217U 1.8GHz, Intel HD Graphics 4000, 4GB DDR3, 120GB SATA-III SSD

    OS: Windows 10 Pro 22H2 64-bit with the latest updates installed

    Bitdefender Total Security build 26.0.34.162
