Bitdefender Blocking IDrive

Relatively new user here. Installed Bitdefender and have been using IDrive with it with no issues for several days. Today I subscribed to the VPN service. With VPN connected, IDrive will not work. The IDrive folk provided the attached information. I've verified that all of the IDrive executables are added to the BD firewall rules. The BD chat agent's solution was to turn on split tunneling so that IDrive can work but no longer enjoys the advantage of the secure tunnel. This is a temporary workaround IMO and not a solution.

I've seen a few other posts on here about BD blocking IDrive. Have there been any resolutions other than the one response which said to uninstall/reinstall BD?
