I downloaded bitedefender total security from YouTube cybernews was this stupid did I make a mistake. I am a newbie to this suff
To make sure that you always are on the latest version of the bitdefender total security, it is better to use the online installer which can be downloaded from https://download.bitdefender.com/windows/installer/en-us/bitdefender_tsecurity.exe

I started to do the same thing as zakk2115. I clicked on the Cybernews YouTube link and went through the first step but became suspicious. I then went straight to Bitdefender's website.
I appreciate the answers that outline the best way to install Bitdefender, however can anyone address if zakk2115 and I should be worried that the Cybernews link was either a scam or was hacked?
