Android 13 keeps killing my bitdefender web security

Hi guys,

My Samsung A53 with android 13 keeps killing my bitdefender web security.

I tryed several solutions from the web. But they do not work and are acutally foro android 11 or earlier.

Could you help

Hello.

My specs: Samsung Galaxy A22 5G, Android 13, One UI Core 5.1, Security Patch Level April 1, 2023, BD Mobile Security 3.3.206.2258

Don't have any issues with the Web Protection feature, works as it should.

Do the steps below.

Step 1 - Exclude Bitdefender from Battery saving settings

• Go to Settings ⚙︎ on your Samsung device and tap Apps.
• Select Bitdefender Security in the list of apps.
• Scroll down and tap Battery, then select Unrestricted.

Step 2 - Grant Accessibility permission to the Bitdefender Mobile Security app

• Go to Settings ⚙︎ on your Android device.
• Open the Accessibility section.
• Select Bitdefender Mobile Security in the list of Installed apps.
• Set the Accessibility permission slider to ON.
• Tap Allow - if prompted - to confirm the change.

Step 3 - Turn back ON the Web Protection feature

Finally, turn back on the Web Protection feature so that the Bitdefender Mobile Security app can scan and block dangerous websites accessed in browsers. 

After implementing all of the steps provided in this guide, Web Protection should no longer turn off on your Android device.

I also have a Samsung A53 running Android 13. I have only had bit Defender mobile security 1 day but I have not noticed any issues with Web Protection. Sophos Interceptor for Android is free and provides excellent real time web protection.
