No connection to DNS

I have a problem and am wondering if it is because of some type of malware Bitdefender is not finding. When I us my wifi after a while I get a problem where I cannot connect to certain websites. I get a DNS error. or "network has changed". Also websites that do load are slow. The reason I think it is something malicious is because when I use linux on the same laptop and network I do not get that problem. Turning the wifi off then on works for about 5 minutes. I am working with windows 11.
